Your permanent roof coating
FOREVERFIX BASECOAT
This is an advanced, polymer modified cementicious coating that forms a waterproof, high build layer over porous and weathered surfaces such as old concrete roof tiles, metal and asbestos roof sheeting. This coating will ensure the adhesion of subsequent top coats and is designed to lock-in powdery and weathered layers of original cement rooftile colour coats. A basecoat is produced where a new tile like finish is achieved after the top coat is applied.
DESCRIPTION/USE
FOREVERFIX BASECOAT is a polymer modified cementiticous coating that is designed to form a water proof, high build layer over porous and weathered surfaces such old concrete and terracotta roof tiles, metal and asbestos roof sheeting. FOREVERFIX BASECOAT is comprised of two parts, which must be premixed before use. Part A is a liquid composition containing 100% acrylic polymers. Part B is a powder composed of a blend of ceramic materials. Part A and Part B react to form a coating with greater strength, adhesion and durability than conventional roof paint coatings. Colourants may be added to the mix to produce a coloured basecoat closer in colour to the required top coat colour. To complete the system the FOREVERFIX BASECOAT is then overcoated with a top quality 100% acrylic roofing coating to achieve a high gloss, coloured finish.
